20 years later, Kansas women won the right to vote in municipal, school, and bond elections. 

That same year, in the small Kansas town of Argonia, Susanna M. Salter was elected the first woman mayor in the nation.

Kansas women finally won full voting rights.

That victory came 80 years before the 19th Amendment that gave women across the country a constitutional right to vote.
